Support for families

Therapy Links UK (TLUK) is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to providing fair access to therapy for everyone, irrespective of their ability to pay.

We offer an open referral system. Anyone can contact us directly to request support for children and young people.

Alongside therapy support, TLUK provides families with opportunities to learn new communication techniques and access support groups that run year-round.

Where we can offer support

Our Team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Dieticians have extensive experience in supporting children and young people, aged 0-25, with various diagnoses and their associated challenges.

Clinic.

We are thrilled to announce that TLUK’s new clinic space is now OPEN.

Here, we are excited to expand our ability to offer high-quality Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) to even more families. We aim to create an inviting and nurturing space, which reflects our commitment to helping every individual thrive, ensuring that all who walk through our doors feel supported and cared for.

Tele-therapy.

We’ve had great success via teletherapy over the past 2 years and it provides lots of benefits:

  • is fun and engaging for children

  • often easier for parents to ‘fit in’ to a busy schedule

  • reduces travel time and cost

  • increases our capacity - we can support you even if we don’t have a therapist in your area!

What Parents Are Saying about Tele-therapy

“My son used zoom with school and he was quite agitated, but with [TLUK] he’s been great. [The therapist] made it really fun and interactive – she shared the screen and sent us info beforehand so my son could do it. She put his picture in the resources. She also made it around his interests – made it interactive for him. ”

“Teletherapy has been great for our family. The therapy received from [TLUK] has been amazing. We feel incredibly supported and we don’t feel that we have had any less a service form TLUK even though we have never met the therapists face to face. Our daughter is a little sensitive to therapies and our therapist has worked with us to make the video call as discreet at possible. She communicates with us in a way that works for our family and is willing to adapt and try new things to ensure we are still receiving the help we desperately need.”
